Pal's mother, Lochmuir Aimee of Craighorn, is also Field Trial Champion and was qualified for the British Retriever Championship in 2005. Due to Tom's judging appointment at the Championship, he was unable to run Aimee. 

Her full sister Lochmuir Abbie of George Greigg gained her FTCH title in 2007.
